Negotiated learning plan.

My project is carrying on from my work from last year where I intent on looking at the LGBT+ community and using my artwork to represent it. In terms of researching and preparing in order to create artwork I need to find some artists which work on this area. It has proven rather difficult to find artists that make work surrounding this area so it may be a challenge. I also need to do some research on sculptures and installations as I want to experiment more in these area as I limited my materials last year which I feel held me back.

I think my art may fit into either symbolism or maybe even expressionism. for this project I am finding it hard to find artists that look at LGBT+ in their artwork. However, artists such as Leonor Fini, Ghana Amer and Marcel Duchamp use styles which I take a lot of inspiration from. They may be useful to me as they work in a different way so there work could inspire me to step out of the box more and do something i wouldn't have initially thought of. 

I plan to work as many hours as possible in the studio defiantly from 9am-3pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in order to get my work done. i also hope to be able to use the library resources and visit a gallery at least once a week, I feel that the more galleries i visit the more ideas i have. I think the only other technical support/workshops may be with Grahame as i intend to do some sculpture and installation work which I may require help with.
