To create his artwork, Ellsworth Kelly chose coloured paper squares randomly and created a grid without creating a specific pattern. He said "I want to eliminate the 'I made this' from my work." I really like how this artist experiments with chance in order to create an interesting and beautiful piece of artwork, the artist doesn't place the squares in a certain pattern or looks for a specific colour, which gives a sense of freedom and chance as he doesn't know what the final outcome will look like until it is complete. An aspect in which I want to experiment with during my work. I like the idea of using shapes and different colours to create my work.

This is Dayanita Singh's museum of chance. This installation is made up of 160 photographs taken by the artist across the years. The artist has played with the arrangement in order to create the best possible outcome. I like how there is endless possibilities of this kind of work, the outcome can vary due to the fact that the images can be moved around and changed. I really like this piece of work because of the fact that each photograph is amazing on its own but also looks amazing together. I like the idea of experimenting with photographs and collaging, however I think I might experiment with copied drawings which I have created and then I plan to collage them together but not in a uniformed way like this artist has done I want to experiment with overlapping the copied images.

Gerhard Richter is one of my favourite artists. I love his use of paint scraping due to the fact that the results are amazing and are never the same they make the piece very unique. My favourite thing about this piece is how multiple colours can be seen as well as some of the base image, it creates a very rustic, old feel to the piece. I plan on experimenting with paint scraping on top of images as well as on different materials I like the idea of using this technique on wood as I feel like the grains of the wood will create an interesting affect.

Mali Morris is a British artist born in wales. She experiments with covering and layering creating tension and multiple spaces. I really like her work as just like Ellsworth Kelly, Morris's work implies a sort of freedom. I really like how abstract and fresh her work looks. the colours are bright, the lines are clean which really draws the eye and captures the attention of the viewer.
